Prepare To Be Your Best At Fitness In The Park !


Get the most out of Fitness in The Park by following a few simple tips.


1. Food is Fuel. Eat a small Breakfast! (There will be plenty of goodies to refuel with after the workout!) 


2. Dress in comfortable clothing.


3. Wear comfortable, full coverage footwear. Please no Crocs, flip flops, etc. Wear good, supporting sneakers.


4. We will be outside, in nature! Don't forget your sun block and bug spray!


5. During the workout, listen to your body. If you need a break, take a break. It DOES NOT matter what we are doing. Listen to your body!


6. If an exercise is too hard, modify it. There will be alternatives for most exercises but if they aren't a good fit for you; you can do anything: squat, plank, air boxing, marching, dance to the music, etc . The goal is just to keep moving.


7. Drink, drink, drink. Stay hydrated. Dehydration can cause fatigue and muscle cramps.


8. Make some new friends. You are going to be surrounded by some AMAZING PEOPLE...like AMAZING!!!! Introduce yourself!


9. Be a cheerleader for those around you. Tell your neighbor “Nice work”, high 5, etc. We are in this together!


10. Remember you are strong! And you are stronger than you think!


11.Have fun and keep a positive attitude. It is amazing what can be accomplished with a positive mindset.
